Our Button Children are the older brother and sister to our popular Button Babies. Their arms and legs are straight and button jointed allowing for different poses and the ability to sit without assistance and even stand alone while wearing shoes!

The "Button Girl" comes in your choice of a Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink or Purple cotton Velour Top with a soft ruffle, a Tam to top the head accented with fabric bows, slip-on Velour Shoes and cotton Socks and matching, woven cotton pants adorned with delicate ribbons.

The "Button Boy"comes dressed in a Yellow, Blue or Green Velour Pants with suspenders - just the thing to keep those pants up - a Tam to top the head, but, without the bows!, Velour slip-on Shoes, cotton Socks and matching, button-down Shirt finished with laplets.

<Dress without Apron

Suggested for 4 years and older.

Button Children, as with all of our dolls are stuffed with clean carded Eco-wool, covered with our exclusive organic skintone knit, hand assembled and hand embroidered with simple facial characteristics. The hair (goat hair and wool yarn) is hand crocheted and then hand sewn. The clothing is of natural fbers, too ~ a waldorf-inspired doll.

"The box arrived yesterday, and my daughter Megan (5 yrs old) opened it today.  I have attached a picture so that you can see the delight in her eyes when she met her new little friend.  The doll is absolutely beautiful!
Megan immediately noticed how much the doll looked like her - "We're twins!"  Of course, she soon after took all the clothes off to put on the new little underwear set, and to fully inspect the doll.  Amazingly, she put all the clothes back on afterwards, even the hat (a first).  No frustration putting on the clothes; the velcro and buttons were easy for her to fasten.  Very nice.  The two have been inseparable this morning. 
As I mentioned in our conversation, we are moving soon.  I was hopeful that the doll as her one special toy to hold close during the move (while the rest of her world is packed away in boxes) would make the transition a little easier for her.  I can see by her immediate bond with the doll that this was the right choice.
