 Two separate workshops will be offered when I am flying in. 

 the 16" Honey and the 14" Little Friend - both will be taught - each will select their doll choice ($90.00/$80.00 + share of the traveling costs) 

the 16" Button Baby and 16" Button Child - both will be taught - select your doll choice ($90.00 + a share of the traveling costs) A room to stay in someone's home is fine. Meals will be provided as well. I am pretty easy here.

Registration and payment deadline is 3 weeks prior to the workshop date.

We have a color selection card if you would like to see the skintone knit and yarn choices for registration purposes.

Everyone's doll specification information (doll type, skin tone, hair color/yarn/style)and payment must be collected by the organizer who will then FAX to me no later than 3 weeks prior to the workshop date. 

Only at the workshop ~ 20% off all extra items brought along!

I bring along many items from the website such as clothing and accessories for the size dolls we will be making, so, if there is something special you would like such as additonal kits and dollmaking supplies or clothing tell the organizer or contact me prior to my arrival and I will bring your packaged order with your name on it.

About My Workshops

I love teaching dollmaking workshops and have done so for over 16 years all over this wonderful country. I invite you to attend no matter your sewing skills. When you see your finished doll at the end of the workshop you will proudly say, "I made it!"

We will learn to:

1. Learn 3 types of knotting and invisible stiches and other sewing techniques and trouble shooting remedies. I teach hand sewing skills which just take practice.
2. Make the doll's head from scratch.
3. Stuff the doll using our innovative techniques and stuffing tool.
4. Assemble the doll and hand sew it together.
5. Embroider the doll's face.
6. Sewn the doll's wig on and trim.
7. If there is time, I can show those interested, to crochet a doll wig.

One may get all the way done if one can keep the talking down to a minimum. This is an intensive training and we are busy all the way to the exhausting end. We work as a group and I am sorry that I cannot devote time repeating to individuals on a regualr basis. It takes 3 times before one is comfortable in making the same doll.

 There is always a wonderful group that comes together to make these endearing dolls. You may keep your doll because you can't part with such a labor of love. Or, you will be delighted to see the wonder and awe in your child's eyes as they behold a doll made from your hands- A true act of love.

• The workshops are in one day (9am to 5pm) to complete an unclothed doll.
• Minimum of 10 people and maximum of 12.
• A lighted space along with natural window lighting is very important.
• The space must accomodate up to 13 people around one large conference table or 6 -8" tables put together to form one large. I need space to go around the table all day long to assit as needed.
• Attendees bring scissors, a thimble and lunch.
• I provide all the rest which includes their custom selected kit with the doll's pattern, a pre-sewn body and pre-made wig, wool stuffing, tubular stockinet, craft thread, embroidery floss, sewing thread, and all the pins, needles, stuffing tool, etc.
• I will send a color selection chart and color flyers as soon as we arrange the workshop. A registration/sign up chart with all the color selection will need to be filled in 3 weeks prior to the workshop date with payment.

• 16" dolls are $90.00/per person
• 14" dolls are $80.00/per person
